Oh man, coffee has been the one thing that’s been so hard for me to give up. I discovered 100% Kona Coffee in early March and drank a couple of cups of it every day, through mid April, with 100% organic cream from a local farmer. Wow….sooooooo good. It was on my list of “not now, honey” items…and still is, even though I’m working my way through the challenge phase now.
Yesterday I’d had enough. Itch or no itch, I wanted to see if I could tolerate coffee yet.
Had my first pot at about 4 p.m. yesterday, and so far…so good…
I’m having my second pot now, and it’s 8 a.m. If caffeine is an allergen to me, it hasn’t shown up yet.
Yesterday I used some coconut palm sugar and rice milk in the coffee — no dairy. This morning it’s 100% Kona Coffee, straight, and strong, the way I like it.
I’ve had Kona Coffee for two mornings in a row now, and I notice it’s making me itch.
